Mollie Harris

I am an oil and clay artist, and my practice explores movement, emotion, and texture through layered surfaces. I work with materials such as clay and gold to create tactile, expressive pieces that invite viewers to engage closely with the surface and form.
Alongside exhibiting my work, I will be delivering a workshop focused on creating hanging garden ornaments. This will be a hands-on, accessible activity suitable for children and families, encouraging creativity through making, texture, and simple sculptural techniques. The aim is to create a relaxed and welcoming space where participants can explore materials and take home something personal and meaningful.
I have experience working with children and community groups, regularly delivering creative sessions that support confidence, self-expression, and inclusion. I’m really looking forward to bringing this into the Art Trail and engaging with the local community.
