Sue Hayton
In the last few years I have been painting abstract landscapes inspired by the countryside at home and abroad. I live in Thornton and have started to make art after a career in the creative industries. I love abstracting what I see before me and what I see in my mind’s eye. I am particularly interested in tracing the marks we leave—intentionally or otherwise—on the natural world. I enjoy experimenting with different media and forms. I will be showing new work at Thornton Art Trail in June 2026.
